Reflections from Venice - October 2020 - ethereal light envelopes the lagoon. Water traffic is low, the city slumbers. When the latest plague recedes the city will come back to life. For now La Serenissima rests, empty, silent, echoing. @veneziaunica @luigibrugnaro @veneziatoday @nuovavenezia @corriere
Gifts from Venice arrived today. The finest chocolates from @viziovirtu chocolate shop (nestled in the back streets) close to Rialto. Also a book about the plague in Venice - highly appropriate and fascinating! Thank you so much @maryguerzoni - so kind and thoughtful. First spritz on me! #amicamia #venezia #serenissima
A vaporetto in Venice has been transformed into a ‘medical centre’ delivering vaccines to islands of the lagoon. The vaporetto painted bright red will visit Sant’Erasmo, Pellestrina, Burano, and other islands in coming days. #Pellestrina @PGJonesVenice
This painting is in the Museo Revoltella, Trieste. Artist - Alberto Rieger - Il canale di Suez - 1864

Getting itchy feet. May 2019 I organised an amazing Ferrari driving experience in Tuscany for 8 business folks. It was super. Wonderful driving, amazing cars, great food and wine. Let’s do it again soon. @villalamassaofficial @redtravel.it @igerstoscana @volgotoscana @cantinettaantinori_firenze @igerssiena @firenzeconguida.it @cittadifirenzeufficiale
