Four years ago - almost to the day - my friend Francesca Blench introduced me to this wonderful hotel. It is, quite literally, heaven, in the heart of the Veneto countryside. The hotel has a fabulous restaurant exquisite gardens, pool and spa. Located a short drive from Lake Garda and about 40 minutes from Verona - this is a perfect short break destination. I have clients staying here next week - lucky them! This is what I wrote about the unique and truly exceptional Villa Cordevigo! https://wp.me/p5eFNn-8L #unique #welcoming #traditional #romantic #magical #heavenly #relaxing #tophotel #gastronomica #gastronomic
A year ago I wrote about Lorenzo Quinn’s fantastic sculpture in Venice. The sculpture is two giant ghostly hands holding up an ancient historic palace in Venice. The sculpture is called #Support - the idea is that Venice needs to be supported and protected from climate change and from global warming. Lorenzo Quinn is a great character and youngest son of Hollywood actor Anthony Quinn. The hands are thought provoking and interesting. This is art to see - for all - free of charge. Now the debate has begun about leaving ‘Le Mani’ in place. Many famous art works including The Eiffel Tower started life as temporary displays. Let’s see!
