As the days begin to length and the sun’s rays strengthen, the wisteria blossom cascades over gateways and walls. The ‘bella stagione’ is just around the corner and an aperitivo in the local ‘campo’ is a delightful opportunity to absorb the scents and flavours of Venice.
We are just concluding our ‘Venice in Springtime’ trip, which has been wonderful. We’ve enjoyed a private ‘palazzo’ visit, an evening visit to San Marco, Byzantine mosaics and endless wisteria.
